Real Reason I married 19 years old Actress-Regina Daniels

Its no longer news that Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels is customarily married to businessman/politician, Ned Nwoko.
The Capital reported that couple had an introduction ceremony last weekend in Asaba, the Delta State capital where Regina Daniels family home is.

Hon. Ned Nwoko, a former member of the House of Representatives, is 59.
His newest wife, Regina is 18 years old.
When the news of the wedding broke out on Friday, it went viral on the Internet.
When contacted by Kemiashefonlovehaven on why he decided marrying Regina after four marriages, the billionaire politician, who spoke through his media handlers refused any comment but said he is first, a Moslem, who can marry as many wives as he wills.

Also, he cited his royal background as another factor for his harem of women.
“Allamdulilai, Hon. Ned Nwoko is of royal blood and he is entitled to as many wives as he desires. He is no kid and knows what is best for him. Don’t forget that he is a devout Moslem and he is entitled to more than a wife. He would not want to comment on Regina Daniels currently,” one of his aides said.

Recall that Ned Nwoko married one Miss Nwakaego Ukachukwu, his Special Adviser on Legal Matters and also gifted her a N20 million BMW car as well as a posh mansion in a high-brow area in Abuja.

Regina and mum, Rita

Married to five wives, Nwoko has been the one splashing cash and spoiling Regina Daniels silly with expensive gifts. He bought her the expensive cars including a house in GRA Asaba which the actress brandished on social media some weeks ago as a gift to her mother, Rita Daniels.

Don’t forget little Regina flaunted a N3.3m Rolex wristwatch, some days after her gift to her mum.
Obviously, Regina has been dating the billionaire for at least over a year or close to two. When asked if Ned Nwoko could be accused of cradle-snatching, sources close to him hinted that Nwoko didn’t touch her until she was of age.
“He didn’t touch her when she was younger and must have decided to be very intimate with her when she clocked 18 in October of 2018. Hence the delayed marriage to make her more mature. You can’t accuse Hon. Nwoko of cradle-snatching when some northern big shots married 13-year-olds. The main thing is that the couple love each other,” he said.

Kemiashefonlovehaven also gathered that Mr. Nwoko sometimes flies the actress to Abuja on his private jet to one of his cozy homes where he also enjoys quiet times with her.
It was revealed that the wedding ceremony, which held last weekend was a private affair as the few family members invited were instructed not to take photographs. There wasn’t much glitz as many would have wanted and everybody complied with the wish of the couple to have a discreet ceremony .

More so, there was not much to make noise about given that it is Nwoko’s sixth marriage among numerous dalliances with older actresses .
Regina came into limelight as a seven-year-old, featuring in a slew of Nollywood movies.

Her mother, Rita Daniels, is also an actress. Currently, a Mass Communication student of the Igbinedion University, Benin, she became a social media sensation recently when she started flaunting luxury on her Instagram page. From flying private jets to different parts of the world to flaunting luxury cars, she became the kind of newsmaker acting never afforded her.

The on-screen character eliminated any confusion air over the connection between her child, Andre and the two-time Nigerian president on Tuesday on Instagram.

The motion picture star responded after an Instagram page devoted to big name kids said Mr Obasanjo was her child’s granddad.

Tonto quickly answered the blog, redressing the suggestion.

“Reason me that is my child and that is not his granddad at all. Baba is an extraordinary man and has been superb to me and my child however lamentably we have no blood association with Baba,” she answered.

It didn’t finish there, as the disputable on-screen character proceeded to uncover that her ex, Oladunni Churchill “cheated on her into trusting that Mr Obasanjo was his dad.”

“In any case, I would not make them utilize my child’s picture for a falsehood. He has two granddads. One is late and mine is particularly alive. I was as unmindful as you until I found reality so please and please again I’m a mother and I would not endure this… Thanks and God favor you and your business,” she said.

Tonto’s most recent online life upheaval did not come as an amazement despite the fact that she had freely proclaimed Mr Obasanjo as her dad in-law in 2015 amid her wedding presentation.

But following her messy divorce, Tonto has repeatedly told anyone who cared to listen that she does not want to have anything to do with her ex-husband.

Although they do not see eye to eye, both parties have launched an unending social media war against each other.

By June 2017, Tonto’s dad returned her traditional marriage bride price to his ex-son in law.

The 32-year-old actress who recently revealed that her much publicised beauty surgery cost N5 million recently told PREMIUM TIMES that she hopes to remarry some day.

Xenophobia: union condemns attack on Nigerians

Xenophobia: Union condemns violent attacks on Nigerians in South Africa

The Nigerian Union in South Africa (NUSA) has expressed displeasure with the alleged violent attack of Nigerians in the latest wave of xenophobic attacks on foreigners in that country.

The Acting Secretary of NUSA, Collins Mgbo, gave the condemnation in a letter addressed to the South African authorities, a copy of which made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.

He said the xenophobic attacks on foreigners started on March 24 in Brits, North West Province and Durban, Kwazulu-Natal province.

“NUSA is using this medium to bring to your attention of attacks on our nationals in Brits, North West Province which started on Sunday, March 24 2019.

“Our people are living in panic and fear of more attacks by a coalition of gang members called Russians and Taxi Drivers.

“Information available to our disposal revealed that shops and properties of Nigerians were damaged and burnt during the attacks,” he said.

Mgbo said that seven Nigerians were injured in the on going attacks with three of them hospitalised having sustained life threatening injuries.

He said that intervention from governments of South Africa and Nigeria was urgently needed, especially as the situation could easily escalate further.

“Also, earlier in the day, foreign nationals in Durban area of Kwazulu-Natal Province were attacked, beaten and their properties burnt by angry locals.

“Over 100 foreigners have taken refuge at the police station. Some of the displaced foreigners are Nigerians.

“As at the time of this report, no death of any Nigerian has been recorded; even though two foreign nationals have been reported dead,” Mgbo said in the letter.

Mgbo said that a high level delegation led by NUSA would soon engage stakeholders as well as groups that allegedly carried out the assualt with the aim of finding a lasting solution.

A photo of miley Cyrus mom with bag of weed, sparks a debate in white privilage

There is so much to be said about white privilege, and what’s wrong with the American justice system. This is merely the tip of the iceberg, but it’s a prime example of how a rich white lady can do something that a person of color would probably be punished for.

I’m sure that Miley’s mom didn’t mean to offend anyone with this, and just thought she was being funny, living her best life.

But that’s what white privilege is.

So, here’s Miley Cyrus and her parents, Billy Ray and Tish.

Getty Images | David Crotty

As you can see, they are a very zany bunch, to say the least.

In the past, Miley has been known to smoke a lot of weed. It sort of became part of her identity for a while.

Instagram | @mileycyrus

She was known for being a very cool, laid-back, queer, hippie chick that didn’t shave her armpits, smoked a ton of weed.

We loved her for it.

I still do.

But in 2017 she stopped smoking weed entirely, because she had a nightmare that she smoked so much weed that she died, and she believed this could actually happen IRL.

Instagram | @mileycyrus

“It’s like, no one’s ever died from weed, but no one’s ever smoked as much as I did,” she said in an interview with Jimmy Fallon.

I love Miley. But I don’t think it’s possible to die from smoking weed.

Giphy | Election 2016

I totally respect her decision to stop smoking though.

To each their own!

Turns out the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree…

Instagram | @mileycyrus

Miley’s mom happens to be quite the pothead herself!

After Miley quit smoking and drinking for a period of time, she said in an interview that it was her mom that got her back into it.

According to Miley, Tish never used to approve of her daughter’s weed smoking habits, but eventually jumped on the bandwagon.

YouTube | The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Apparently now, she “smokes more pot than anyone” Miley knows.

I’m guessing that’s a whole lot.

The photo of Tish brought some serious issues to light about the American justice system.

Twitter | @soledadobrien

Soledad O’Brien tweeted in response to the photo, pointing out that there are tons of people behind bars right over weed related charges.

Marijuana was legalized in California in 2016. But the photo sparked an important conversation about white privilege in America as a whole.

YouTube | The Late Late Show with James Corden

Although weed is legal in California— where Miley and her family live, it is still illegal in many other parts of the US.

This person pointed out that it’s not only the Cyrus’ that are able to show off their marijuana habits all willy nilly, without having to worry about repercussions.

Twitter | @SteveCoville

They make a good point.

“Every single person in jail right now for smoking pot should be released yesterday,” wrote @AugustJPollak.

Giphy | 9Now

Say it louder for the people in the back. Make sure everyone hears this one loud and clear!

Or at the very least, everyone should be treated equally. In a perfect world, I suppose.

It’s definitely not fair that there are people sitting in jail right now over a small baggy of marijuana — a fraction of what Tish was standing in front of in that photo — and the Cyrus’ get to flaunt their drug use freely without consequence.

It’s a sad reality.

I feel horrible for anyone that has or is doing hard time for possession of marijuana, if they ever have to see this photo.

Twitter | @DJZeeti

It’s just not fair.

This hits close to home for some people.

Twitter | @yayforzig

I can understand why this would be a frustrating thing to see if you have close friends or family members that are in jail over a tiny amount of weed.

Anyways, here’s the photo Billy Ray posted this photo of Tish standing in front of a giant safe full of marijuana.

Instagram | @billyraycyrus

He captioned the photo: “Yes! Like I said yesterday @TishCyrus…. my how the times they are a changing #CrAzYMaMa”

To be fair, Tish sent out a statement on Instagram right away, denying that the weed belonged to her.

Instagram | @billyraycyrus

This may or may not be true. I really wouldn’t put it past her, seeing as she loves smoking weed and has the money to have as much of it as she wants, or could ever want.

But for the sake of this story, let’s just say it isn’t hers.

The unfortunate truth is that people of color are substantially more likely to face harsher consequences for marijuana-related charges than white people.

Twitter | @dwatkinsworld

There’s really no arguing that.

Racism is still very much alive in the US.

Another person pointed out that white people can turn smoking weed into a funny, likeable personality trait.

Twitter | @wlwamerica

But colored people get labelled as a druggy or a criminal for the same thing.

This person managed to sum up this incident, and incidents like it with one Cynthia Nixon quote.

Twitter | @_SJPeace_

So well said.

If respected, wealthy, white folks can casually do it, then people of color shouldn’t be getting the third degree for it.

What’s sad, though, is if someone is released from jail after being incarcerated for marijuana-related charges, it is unlikely that their lives will just snap back to normal.

Giphy | undefined

Being in jail is no-doubt, a traumatizing experience, that can haunt a person for the rest of their lives.

It just isn’t worth the trouble over something as harmless as weed.

Meanwhile, The Cyrus gang is just out here flaunting their privilege.

This person can’t even imagine how they thought this was an okay photo to post on social media.

Twitter | @AngelesGubler

Posting this photo, with no regard for the fact that there are countless people sitting in jail right now — over a slight percentage of the weed seen in Tish’s photo — is basically the definition of white privilege.

Not to mention having to rebuild their lives from scratch.

Coming out of jail after a weed-related incident would be incredibly difficult, and could ruin a person’s quality of life forever.

I’m guessing the Cyrus family is feeling a little bit embarrassed right about now.

Giphy | Recording Academy / GRAMMYs

I guess money and fame can make people complacent. But hopefully, Tish and Billy Ray have learned a valuable lesson from this.

The silver lining is that it hopefully raised some awareness about white privilege.

The internet is a pretty hostile place, where people get criticized for just about anything — especially celebs.

But sometimes it’s for a good cause!

If you ask me, they should just make weed legal everywhere. Alcohol is more harmful, and yet it’s completely normalized.

Instead of ruining people’s lives by throwing them in jail over a little bit of weed, why not legalize it and save everybody the trouble.

it would make America a hungrier, more giggly place.
