A combined team of Nigerian soldiers and police have allegedly abducted Jewish worshippers at Isiala-Ngwa Junction who were on their way to attend the burial ceremony of the parents of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and his wife.
This is according to a post by Nnamdi Kanu on his verified Facebook page on Thursday.
He said, “Information reaching me now is that two buses conveying Jewish worshippers on their way to my hometown Isiama-Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia Abia State for the funeral of my parents have been abducted at Isiala-Ngwa Junction by a combined team of Nigerian soldiers and police. They are currently being detained in their barracks”.
The Abia State Police command had earlier in the day accused Nnamdi Kanu of importing strangers into Afara community to truncate the peace and stability currently enjoyed by the people.
The Force warned that any attempt to cause fear and panic in the People’s mind will be resisted.

He had been angered by xenophobia attacks targeting foreigners, that were widely interpreted as targeting Nigerians. The tweet has since been deleted.
South African rapper AKA has been leading a campaign to get Burna Boy to apologise for his remarks.
“Ek se … @burnaboy all we want is an apology. We know South Africa is not perfect. But we took you in as our own before you reached these levels. You say you are an AFRICAN GIANT, prove
